So as I sit here and wait for my tax return. I decided I'm getting a Wii. But i do have a question about it. When looking online at the memory cards I saw that they where the SD. The 1Gb and 2Gb say SD for the Wii or something like that. But the 512Mb looked just like a standard one. My question is, Do I have to get one of the special "Wii SD cards" or can I use one of the extra one I have around here for my camera?

I don't know if they changed some minute thing so you have to buy the Wii ones or they just sell them thinking people will buy the over priced ones with the Wii logo.

Mac D__________________I could say Read The Manual but you don't have that yet. I do like the question and if so that would mean that memory cards for my camera a going to get cheaper and bigger.

For Wii games, all you need is a standard SD memory card. If you're playing Gamecube games, however, you need Gamecube (not Wii or SD) memory cards.
