hi dman [Big Grin]

Hi cheezi [Smile] .

Nice of you to reinterpret my quote [Razz] . I don't think I made that direct analogy (I'm pretty sure someone else said that exact thought), though I did draw plenty of other related correlations to technology advances [Smile] .

I have just 2 words:

Virtual Boy. [Big Grin]

(For those who are not hard-core game geeks, or *gasp* too young, the Virtual Boy was Nintendo's foray into 3-D gaming...it consisted of huge goggles and a weirdo glove-thing. The games were displayed in only one color, red. You couldn't play for more than 5 minutes without getting a headache, or feeling like a complete git. Needless to say, it didn't do too well...)

On another note -- E3 in 2 weeks! Yay!

I LOVE VIRTUAL BOY! I still have one actually, I think i will go blow the dust off it.

But you're very correct about the git/headache thing. The red doesn't do to well with my eyes and the glove wasn't too comfortable.

The Virtual Boy is alive and well, it was just handle poorly by nintendo. Their only system that didn't get full promo.

It was before it's time

Heh, and if you wore it too long you either saw everything as a shade of red, or you couldn't see the colour red at all. That must be safe.

if I had the money to get the hardware that's the kinda stuff i'd be building.

trouble is i'm stuck with a rather outdated computer, oh well on the bright side it's enough to run a compiler.
