I don't believe in or have credit cards. I have done computer work for one of those companies in the past. I actually pay cash and don't believe in much credit or checks, that is the only way I have been able to keep some of my money. I love the concept of a superfan. I think user should be willing to contribute. Is there a way to pay for superfan membership by a year's subscription in a money order.

Absolutely, we take cash, money orders, or personal cheques.
Just make sure that if it's a money order, we can cash it in Canada. Some of them we can't. US cash is fine.
All the details are here...

How do Canada banks handle US checks? Any conversion fees, etc?

Usually there is no fee for cashing a US cheque, (just the built-in fee when they do the currency conversion rate).

Lucky you...when Pamela, in her capacity as EMinds Treasurer, receives donations from our friends in Grande Prairie, AB (via Canada Post money order), we get dinged with a fee for depositing them. (And she has to take them inside the bank...she can't deposit them through the ATM, or they'll kick them back to her.)

Nope, I'm sure you have checks in Canada, but it's "more blessed to give than receive"
... especially if there's ice and a puck involved.
