I can't remember having a good one.. ever. [/qb][/QUOTE]Hate to be the banana in the tailpipe of the moroseness of the thread, but I'm going to be spending a very nice day with WinterSolstice. Probably fencing. As in putting up a fence, not passing stolen goods. He'll probably make me something. Give me lots of hugs. Let me know that I'm special and important to him. And I'll do the same for him. It's funny -- I am terrible at giving gifts to Winter, just as he can't keep a surprise. Well, except the one year I bought him a top-of-the-line TacX trainer. Though I told him early, because I was afraid of getting him something he didn't like. One Valentine's Day, I bought him a black silk shirt. He used to have one (before we met), and one day, when he was on a date, the girl decided to go all "cinema romance" and rip off his shirt whilst trying to be impassioned. He left after collecting the buttons. But the shirt I got him to replace it was more Goodfellas than what he'd had; it was not only not the shirt he missed, it was simply 100% not his style. It doesn't mean I won't try again, though. So I used it. Usually, I simply say "sure" when he asks for something around an event. I think I might actually go out of my way and purchase something this year for him. Something he wants. Something I know he wants. (No, not the Moonspell CD, hon. Unless I accidentally trip over it).
