Bjarne Stroustrup bolts everything he's ever heard of onto C to create C++. The resulting language is so complex that programs must be sent to the future to be compiled by the Skynet artificial intelligence.

One of my lecturers at uni was on the ADA design committee, we watched him go from wild-eyed enthusiasm to bitter disappointment.

His comments on the final standard were very much like the quote above.
