Druidling V1.0f is in second year of university.
As I type this, she's 'attending' one of her lectures - IN THE BATH!

I'd have done so much better at uni if that had been an option.

Oh my! I'm a little mixed about that - I think I get a bit more motivation out of going to class.

Where I work these days, attendance is something that's pretty seriously contemplated. Almost all lectures are recorded and available online - our students definitely watch them, but they have pretty busy schedules and many don't sit in on lectures anymore. For the ones that are mandatory, a badge tracker has been implemented to verify their attendance.

If it works for her, that's great! I just suspect that I'd slack off more if given that opportunity. [Wink]

Ugh. I'm not a very good student to begin with; it requires organization (nope!), self-discipline (hah! right!), and time management (ROFL!). Thankfully I'm fairly smart, that helps, but I still tend to be toward the lower end of the GPA bell curve.

I tried online classes once... well actually it was "blended" -- half online, half in class -- and I found that online classes take even more of all those things I don't have, especially the self-discipline.

On the other hand, my sister thrives at her online university and is working on yet another Master's.

To each their own, I guess. [crazy]
