I started a moblog at Text America. If you pick "other" for cellphone type, I could use regular camera pictures.

These are pictures of my daughter Dora-Marie and I at the baby shower work threw last week.

She turned 11 months on Monday. She has made real progress since I got her home. She had a fabulously loving foster mom, but didn't get to get down and crawl much. She is a crawling fiend now and walks holding furniture edges. She is also going off baby food. She wants to put everything in her own mouth. LOL. So last night she had lo mein noodles, carrots and hard boiled egg white. She is a pasta junkie. She must be my daughter the way she loves carbs. [Big Grin]

Hehe, it's a beautiful stage, isn't it? I got to see my almost 12 month old daughter on the weekend, and she's pretty much at the same stage, eating solids voraciously, crawling around and propping herself up on things whenever she gets the chance.

Shortly after this photo was taken, she managed to blow out the candle herself, and then decided to munch on the strawberries from the top of the cake (got through about three of them, too!)

Never realised you geeks were so gooey over babies...

If you want to post me to that effect, I'll put up some pics of my daughters (nearly 4 years and 5 weeks,,,)

(And why not...)

Bring 'em on.

I'll be posting pics of Cap'n Vic v2.2 in 8 or so weeks [thumbsup]

We are still looking for names if anyone has any ideas. I am holding out for Marillion but my wife isn't down with it.

Actually, I favour Scandinavian names, my current fav being: Mattias. (We already know it is a boy.)

My mom always said go on your back porch and yell the name at the top of your lungs. If you can live with calling the kid how with that name, go for it. [Big Grin]

/me out on the porch shouting: Mar-ill-ion....sup-per!

Sounds good to me [Wink]

Yeah, but it's gonna get contracted into "Mari", maybe not by you, but definitely by your kids schoolmates. Do you really want to do that to your son?

"Mattias", OTOH, shortens intoa nice, respectable, "Matt".

Cap'n: you could always call him Fish [Wink]

It would be very Monty Python, too "Fishy, fishy, fishy, fish. Is he .. behind the sofa?"

Cute photos you two. You have my sympathy on sleepless baby nights, Emma. Dora-Marie has been sick and I would kill for a good night's sleep.

Yeah, you'll get it in about 17 years.
[Big Grin]

I feel for you. Our youngest was a colicy baby so he only slept about 2 hrs. at a time. And most of our pictures from his first 1 1/2 years are of us napping with him on our laps and chests. And even now he is up by 6:00 a.m.
