Now I know I'm somewhat late to the party with online learning. I think it's the amount of pointless "e-learning" I've had to do in the last five years meaning I reflexively hate any online multiple guess question... However, I'm currently working through "MedStats" from Stanford, and it's honestly amazing. Sufficiently simple that I'm learning something; sufficiently complex that I don't feel patronised, and I'm learning a lot quickly. Plus it recommends R as that stats environment of choice
It's too late to enroll now and get the certificate at the end of it (as you have to complete weekly homework), but for anyone who's got any interests in biomedical stats (or stats at all) I'd heartily recommend you sign up and work through the lectures.

60% of all statistics are invented by the author.
And the other 25% are wrong.

Hmmm... What are the chances of that?
