I have this crush on this guy and when I told all of my friends about it they started laughing and screamed he walks like a girl. So after lunch I made sure I was in viewing distance of him and it is true. When he walks he switches his hips to the affect of looking like a girl. I just found out today that he is from Germany I dont know if that makes anything different or not I am just praying to god that somebody knows if this is the way people walk over there!!! [ohwell]

If the "certain way" he walks is through the doors into a gay bar, the answer is likely to be yes. Otherwise, the way he walks most likely has very little to do with his sexual preferences.

I know that he may just walk that way but he just has gay tendances and also is it common for a freshman and a sophmore to date? I see it all the time but I am afraid that he will think I am not good enough. All of my friends say that I am very pretty and so does everyone I meat but I am on the short side and that has gotten in my way on a couple of occasions. Do all guys care about hieght or what? I mean I thought guys like petite girls I mean I am not flat chested but my boobs arent as big as my friends and I am not fat I am skinny. I have a great personality too people just tend to think I am too short to like is this usual or is it an adolescent thing?

[Confused]

Worrying about love is an adolescent thing for girls and worrying about sex is an adolexcent thing for boys. Once you've had it you will learn that it is not the most important thing in the world.

As for guys liking petite girls/ personalities etc, thats like asking do people like marmite/peanut butter. - Some do, some don't.

If you really want to get with him, then just looking at his walk isn't going to do the job. Talk to him.

I do plan on talking to him I just dont want to look like a fool when I am flirting with him (and thats more of an if I flirt with him) and he looks at me all funny and says honey Im gay. I dont think that just because he walks wierd means he is gay I mean if I did I wouldnt like him any more I was just wondering what everone elses oppinions were

I do all sorts of things that probably look rather gay (for example I cross my legs like a girl), but I am definately heterosexual. If he is actually gay, odds are good that either he's still in the closet or several people already know (though that might not be as true in very homophobic communities). And what's the worst that could happen if he is gay? You won't get to go out with him. That's not any different than if you don't talk to him. Even if he is gay, he'll probably be flattered that a pretty girl wanted to go out with him.

thats a much better way to think about it. I know I am not going to just sit around staring all googley eyed at him I mean yeah I can be shy but not for long. It will drive me crazy to just sit there and not talk to him I mean your right if I dont talk to him Ill never know. Also I am not saying just because you do a certain thing that makes you gay because I know that isnt true I was just wondering what people thought.

Okay, honey, I warned you about multiple posting, but I wasn't nice enough last time to give you any advice so I'll give you some here. I highly recommend you heed my advice as it will answer all of your questions.

Step 1: Next time you see him, take a nice big deep breath and let it out slowly to calm your nerves.

Step 2: Tell yourself that you indeed ARE good enough to have him be your boyfriend ('cause, indeed, you truely are!).

Step 3: Walk over to him and say, "Hi, I noticed that you're in my ____ class. What do you think of Mr./Mrs./Ms./Miss So-and-so; he/she's a real nut/fun teacher/hardass, isn't he/she?"

Step 4: Flow with the conversation that ensues and remember that he's a person, just like you, not some mysterious god-like mystical perfect man-creature. Relax, he wants to talk to you!

Then the next time you see him after that, wave and smile at him or if the time is right, strike up another conversation with him. Might I suggest this wonderful ice-breaker: "Hi!"

I hate to be so cynical sounding, but really you only have two options here: sit around and stare at him from afar all day long and wonder and hope and pray that he might actually like you, or go talk to him and find out for sure that he actually does.

Aside from your tendancy to post the same thing over and over again, you really sound like a nice young lady. I see absolutely no reason why he wouldn't be more then willing to, at the very least, go on a date with you. Of course all great relationships always start with that first date.

thankyou for being so nice to me. I am just new at all of this, and by all of this I mean this website and liking guys this much. I have never been boy crazy and it is like some switch went off in my head. I thank you for all of your advice and I know I will use it. I am not the type of person to just sit and watch life pass me by so I know I cant just sit and watch him for too long. I am just really nervous around new people, guys especially, but as soon as I talk to him I know that I will be more comfortable I just have to do it and well if I make myself look like a fool then I guess I need to just find someone new but hopefully I can pull it off without totally blowing it....

I think we all have to get back to the point, which is well summed up in Steen's post.

The fact that he walks funny does not make him gay.

Unless of course he's walking bow-legged as a direct result of it. *shudder*

I laughed so hard I almost choked on my cookie. I had a similar thought in mind but I prefer the way yours was written so I won't even try to post mine. [Wink]

No, Mama Weer All Crazy Now.
But seriously just talk to him and you'll find out the answer.

If he isn't gay then go girl. Otherwise, c'est la vie, but don't deny yourself a potential friendship if he is.

I talked to him!!!!!!!!!!!
First he is or shall I say seems like a very nice guy.
Second I dont think he is gay (I never did my friends did and they thought it was funy to remind me of it)
And Third everyone was right he is shy because as soon as you talk to him he opens up and is not snotty or snobby (my friends also believed that)and everyones advice helped a lot I mean I didnt talk to him by just walking up to him I asked if he played soccer since I thought he did and then we talked about that for a little bit then mrs. Zych had to go be a lame and asked me to read her something in french...but at least not I have something I know that I can ask him about and that he is interested in [hearts] [Happytears] [Wink] [Smile] [thumbsup]

The sure fire way of telling if a guy is gay is that he got his panties in a bunch...

I'm sure what you were meaning there is a contraction of 'you are' which would be you're, you had the second person singular possessive. [Wink]

You should be aware that you have a run-on sentence going there that screams to me, "not eligible for grammar nazi status."

You have two main clauses there, bud.
Also your first sentence absolutely does not run parallel with itself as far as tense goes.

I'm sure what you were meaning there was a contraction of 'you are' which would've been 'you're.' You had the second person singular possessive pronoun.

Just in the rare case that you are a Christian I shall point you towards a certain scripture. It is in the book of Saint Matthew and is verse number one of chapter seven. Essentially, it says for you not to judge others unless you wish to be judged.

Gay or straight doesn't matter. I have a tendency to be attracted to lesbians. It may seem strange, but not really. I have a tendency to be attracted to MANY women who do not have a tendency to be attracted to me. C'est La Vie. If they ALL were I'd be too busy having sex to do anything else, so I guess it's a GOOD thing [Wink]

If he is gay, that is just one more reason he might not wanna "do" you, but that shouldn't stop you from getting to know him. If you are attracted to him, you might just be attracted to something more than the way he jigggles his tight little ass. You might actually like him regardless of wether there is any mutual sexual attraction.

Also have you considered you may be a lesbian? I mean seriously if you go all loopy over every guy that walks like a girl, maybe it's just repressed lesbian tendencies [Wink] [Razz]
