OK, back during our 1000th comic giveaway, Peebs cried out for a 1024 giveaway... who am I to deny her that? So now that we reached Joy of Tech comic # 1024, we must comply!

Why 1024? Well, if you are a geek, you know why. If not, google it! [Geek]

And what better geeky thing to giveaway than the Mystery Science Theater 3000 Volume 12 DVD box set! Sweet!

How do you enter?
Easy! All you have to do is post a reply to this Forum thread, and you're in on the giveaway. And, if you are a SuperFan, you can enter again in the SuperFan Forum and you get twice the odds to win! Be sure to say why you like MST or the number 1024. It won't help your odds of winning, but will make the thread more fun. :-) We'll randomly draw a name from the people who post, and he/she will be our lucky winner!

Giveaway ends on Sunday October 28th at 8 PM Pacific. One entry, per person, per thread only please, or you will be disqualified. More info and pretty pictures are here!

OMG! Please count me in!! We have been HUGE fans of MST3K for years, and we own every MST3K Volume set on DVD, save this one! (we even have the hard to find Vol. 10, which was pulled from shelves due to the licensing issues with Godzilla.) Su-WEEEEEEET! [thumbsup]

(should I take this to mean that Nitrozac and Snaggy are MSTies too? Or just an incredible coink-eedink?)

Dear lord I love me some MST3K.... One of the greatest shows ever!

Count me in. I wasn't familiar with MST3K until now, but it looks like something I would watch.

Oh my gosh, what a coincidence! As I was wandering around a corn field yesterday (well... a corn field that had been made into a maze.. so I was actually wandering around a corn maze, or you could say a maise maze [Razz] ), the topic of old, bad movies came up and my brother and I spent a good deal of time confusing everyone around us talking about MST3K.

There's nothing like a good dose of MST3K to... uhm... do stuff.... [crazy]

The episode where they watched "Mitchell" starring Joe Don Baker was pretty hilarious. [Big Grin]

Aw, thanks Snaggy! You should see how big my grin is right now. People in my economics class are going to wonder what I've been up to this morning. [Big Grin]

This is really awesome. And it reminds me, I need to re-up my superfandom. [Smile]

Since I won the last one by saying I couldn't win, I guess I'll just have to lose this one by saying that I seem to be able to win after all, thereby proving my original point; I think.

Hmmm, I heard about it, never seen it. Maybe I'll have the chance to fill that void in my culture?

I want things! I like things... where would we be without things, huh? It's just like Alexie Sayle once said: "In 1523, there were only 117 things in the World -- and the King owned most of them."

MST3K is awesome. I lucked out and ran across the show right around when it first started.

I don't enter all the JoT giveaways, but for this one -- count me in! Growing up in the days many of the MST-spoofed movies were created, my brother and I have a long history of watching these shows and ridiculing them, so it's great fun watching "professionals" do it! And as for the number 1024, I've been a long time fan. [Wink] My dad taught me to count in binary at age 5, and I won a school science fair as a fifth grader with a mechanical "binary machine".
