On Wednesday, September 29th, 2004, 11:00 a.m., a plaque will be dedicated at the Hotel Chelsea, 222 West 23rd Street, Manhattan (between 7th Avenue and 8th Avenue), on the front of the building next to other plaques honoring individuals whose creative works were composed here. Sir Arthur wrote 2001 here.

Promptly at 11 a.m., the plaque will be unveiled and a brief greeting from Sir Arthur will be read.

Congrats Arthur!

I believe the correct quote is
"I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that"

[Beard of Peter Gabriel!] [thumbsup]

I want to know if there is a plaque that says, "Sid killed Nancy here."

/me suspects this isn't the image their PR droids want to project, but if it was ....

They could have a plaque honouring the Leonard Cohen song 'Chelsea Hotel', with the quote "giving me head on the unmade bed, while the limousines wait in the street"

Damn, if it wasn't for that pesky thing called work, I'd consider going to see that - I might still head on over sometime later to see the plaque itself.
