I want to watch the new "Grand Tour" show on Amazon and was going to get an TV to do so. Unfortunately, Amazon Video is not available on TV, so I need to get one of Amazon's devices. I'm looking at the Fire TV Stick; has anyone used one?

Can you use AirPlay?

Quality can be amazingly good, plus you can use the AppleTV remote to control the screen.

Hmmm, I have never used it but I found this YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTH3n6njeGY that shows me how I can probably use my MacBook Air or iMac to do it. I'll have to see if I can pick up an TV at the Beale AFB Exchange next week.

I'll also get the Amazon Video iOS app so I have a back up way to use AirPlay.

I wish I could help as far as the Fire Stick goes. I am more of a fan of the Roku personally. You can get them on sale pretty regularly from brick and mortar stores. And if something is wrong with it return it without the same hassle.

And I can't wait to see that first episode. It can't get here fast enough.

You can Airplay Amazon Video from iPad to Apple TV - but as a happy Firestick owner, I can heartily recommend one, especially now they have Alexa (plus they're incredibly easy to sideload Kodi, Modbro, etc on to if you're in to that sort of thing)
