I know that at one time I was in possession of it, however I can not remember who wanted it next?

I could have used it the other night, there was an incident involving Druidling V1.0f, 2 of her 15 year old female friends, and a cask of cheap white wine in the park at 2 AM.

Me is thinking that you needed the bong to relax after hearing of the incident?

I wish I could remember whom came and got the bong, I am sure the V would have been M.

That what-what now? Have you been partaking?

I guarantee I don't have it - one of the fun things about working where I work these days is that drug testing is a condition to start employment, and while I strongly doubt my area would have cause to be checked, we do agree to random testing. (From a privacy standpoint, I wasn't enamored with that being a condition of employment, but it's kind of only fair that they treat everyone the same...and it's a good job otherwise.) I really doubt it would be an issue, but I was a wee bit worried when I attended a concert a few weeks into the gig, and some schmucks were smoking inside...I'm sure I was involuntarily exposed to some trace, and I doubt it would register, but it would really stink if it did. :/

I've never used any illegal drugs, even in my wild youth, but if any employer ever asked me to pee in a cup, that would be a deal-breaker for me.

Life's too short to live it in the '1984' universe.

TFD: Ordinarily, I'd agree with you. However, there are an increasing number of jobs that have all sorts of unpleasant barriers to employment. (Teachers get fingerprinted, after all. [And probably have to get tested for drugs, but I really don't know the rules in the K12 space.]) I don't like it one bit, but despite the miserable hoops to jump through, it really is a good job with a good employer. My organization receives federal money, and as a result, they're obligated to follow certain rules...and this is one of them.

Saying no to everyone who has unpleasant barriers to entry probably makes it a lot harder to find a decent job - I'm sure some places are less stringent, but in highly litigious America, it's a negligible cost to add these rules. If they don't have the rules and someone fscks up...some lawyer will probably say "You could have prevented this if you did X, Y, or Z, like everyone else is doing." Startups probably don't have these rules, but they carry much more risk of going under. They also have a greater chance of having one real schmuck in charge - I'm very pleased that we have rather good management...it's such a breath of fresh air compared to where I was before.
