So it has been Nine years since the team at Henry Ford hospital removed my cancerous prostate. My PSAs have been coming back PSA<0.1 So I will not die from Prostate cancer, however a new wrinkle has emerged I have had a Stroke Feb 23 at 3AM I am home from the hospital and on the mend I still need a walker to get around will up date more later.

So glad you are on the mend! Those walkers are great btw, they really helped my mom when she needed them.

Sorry to hear that MoMan.

Looking on the bright side - those new drugs they pumped into you in the ER have really made a huge difference to long term recovery rates.
Mrs Druid's had 2 strokes, and her recovery was (almost) complete both times.
(I can *sometimes* see a little droop on one side of her mouth, when she's tired, but I seriously doubt anyone who didn't know she'd had strokes would notice).

It takes time, and work, but the end result is way better than it used to be.

Thanks to those that have replied, my left leg is still weak. The neurosurgeon says that a plague in the right carotid may have caused the stroke. It did not affect speech just left extremities, elbow and knee out.
