Those of us in the Northern-Hemisphere should see some good auras?

Some disruption to Over the Air radio and TV some Cell phone problems and maybe even GPS for the next few days.

Not fair.
The Northern Hemisphere gets (almost) all the good natural disasters.

So you are saying that you do not get "The Southern Lights?"

Yes, we get the Southern Lights, but not many people get to see them.

There's not a lot of land in the Southern Hemisphere (20% cf 40% in the North) and what there is is either under ice, or clustered close to the equator.

Melbourne's the southernmost city of any real size, we're about the same latitude (hemisphere adusted) as San Francisco. Further South, well there's Tasmania (population 1/2 million) and the bits of New Zealand, Chile, and Argentina that nobody wants to live in.
