Guns are almost impossible to use effectively in hand-to-hand combat and rape isn't really a ranged combat situation. A knife would be far more useful.
I look forward to the contrived scenarios meant to demonstrate how 'wrong' I am.

They are really good for 'defending yourself' in a fight with a family member over the TV remote or whose turn it is to stack the dishwasher, there's a mountain of statistics to support that.

I find that tasers work better for domestic disputes. They leave fewer marks to be found during police inquiries.

Fewer marks, more prosecution witnesses.

Me doubts that a would be rapist would be wearing a Bullet Proof Vest. That Sheriff recommended The Judge by Taurus last I knew it only came chambered for .45 or .41 Cal either one will knock down the target especially if they are wearing a Bullet Proof Vest.
