I come on this site and find that there are only 6 topics. Whats up with that people?

So anyway I thought I would just make a random post. I think I figured out what I want to go to school for. Limnology!! Sounds fun huh? It's kind of like Ocenography but for fresh water bodies like lakes, streams and marshes. This would keep me close to home since I do live in the land of 10,000 misquito breeding grounds ..... errr, lakes. And since my uncle sam is footing the bill I get to do it all for free.

Ok, this will make it 7 in the "Today's active topics"

oh neat!

Growing up on the Great Lakes, I was in the water most of the summer. Now that I live beside the ocean, I'm amazed how much life there is in salt water compared to fresh! Lakes seem dead in comparison now! It's funny, you'd think it be the opposite.

Well especially lake erie is dead - you can see the waste in the water that our lovely neighbour detroit dumped in there. If you see anything move in that lake - trust me its not a fish and its advised to get out.

Yeah when I went over to Cuba for vacation there was live everywhere and even on the beaches of the Netherlands there is always some organism what washed upon the shore.

But congrats on choosing something to study - i'm still looking myself but am leening towards computer engineering but that can change in an instance.
