You people, like all of them on campus today that dressed up, need serious help, if this is your only way of amusement.

This be not our only way of amusement. Just today's way to amuse ourselves.

So I attempted to dress up and swagger into work today. In all the excitement, I forgot to punch into work, so now I'll have to stay an extra 10 minutes, but that's not important. When I talked like a pirate to my first shift counterpart, she rolled her eyes and said, "No! Not another one!" Apparently she had been greeted by a pirate this morning and didn't appreciate it.

I happier news, I now have a computer at my desk... going from nothing (and using the day-shift iMac when necessary) to a Mac Mini. i wonder if it'll be running 9 or 10? Not all of the artist computers have been migrated to OSX yet.

'Sokay Dman. A 9 disk is included with the mini but it's only for the "classic" layer for running older software under 10.3. Didn't bother to install it on mine.

Ahh...it's safe and secure...and running in it's newly upgraded Tiger splendor...

BTW, I did install 9 on Classic - wanted to play Riven (hey, I bought it for Windows /years/ ago, and it was a dual system disc... [Big Grin] ).

Yup, this un's running OS X. It's really nice. I like the keyboard especially. The feel of the keys is really a good fit for me. After being on IRC so much today, though, I'm really missing it now!

(And no one's doing TLAP Day today, so I feel a bit letdown. All that hype in IRC, and now nothing. 'Tis a sad state of affairs!)

GG, where's a pirate emoticon?

Be thankful you've never gone on a four hour drive with 2 little girls who sang their songs the whole way...
