I just want an iPod. Even the old generation small harddrive ones. I just want something to get me to and from work without listening to the mundane conversations of the people around me.

I just can't bring myself to spend that much money on something that simply isn't worth that much.

We found one of the older 5GB at a pawn shop for just under $100 It works great. We are thinking about going around looking for another one so my wife and I can both have one. She has it almost all the time [Frown]

My dilemma exactly. How I've decided to solve it is one of the small (256mb) mp3 players that plug straight into a USB port. That way I can put a few hours worth on it, stick it in my pocket, and walk/cycle to wherever I want to be. Next day, clean it down, put some more songs on. Also, if I crash my bike then I haven't wrecked an iPod [Wink]
