so the prodigal geek returns. This is for me more than just coming back to this forum. It means acceptance of who i really am. Till yesterday i always considered the fact that I was more than a geek, but things have happened that reveal that i am and will always be a geek. So i accept it and i'm back....
now to go out and buy a thinkgeek tshirt that says "scan my network and die" to wear to the datacenter.....

That's the trick with relationships....you have to be able to pursue your own hobbies.

Practicing what?

When I lived with my parents in WA it was about a half hour drive to the dojo. Now I live in CO, and my dojo is about four blocks from my apartment.* Location location location. [Big Grin]

*: I don't live in my apartment. I live in my lab, which is a 10-15 minute bike ride from my apartment and the dojo. Guess who brings her gi to work?

Edited to fix a rather embarassing and ridiculous typo. Thanks dman!
