When looking at people you like, whether it be dating, marrying, or just crushing; What do you like about their hair?

I like it to be clean and well-taken care of (kinda like how I like the rest of the guy to be clean and well-taken care of [Razz] ). For all other parameters it depends on the guy. But if you can't keep it clean shave it off. If you don't want to shave your head then wash your hair on a regular basis. We girls appreciate it.

Xanth: are you suggesting that it's now OK for white guys to shave their heads? 'Cuz I've always had the opposite impression, that it looked ... odd.

Now, if you said, "get a buzz cut" I'd agree. But then, I'm a guy, so I'm not qualified to have an opinion on men's hair.

Bill from ApologetiX, Benny the semi-pro wrestler from next door, and CSK from Australia... all white guys with shaved heads and some sort of facial hair. Very hot. [Eek!]

I tend to like guys with short hairs (not shaven nor just a millimeter or two, mind you), usually blond or light brown. But...

Any special hairs will attract a look from me. Tight waves in clean rows, dreadlock can look great on some guys, or long straight à la Lucius Malefoy from the movies... When they are worn proudly, they usually look good, and when the hairs look good, usually the guy also do. I guess its really a matter of attitude more than the hairs by themselves.

Some white guys can pull it off. Some can't.

Never was a very big fan of redheads or that pale-white blondish hair. Blonde, brown, black, and not too short is good for me. I mean, I like short, but not soccer-mom short.

HAHA. In all seriousness though, no, it's not the inner person that counts.

... allow me to elaborate.

The person on the inside is (obviously) a very large part of it, and I will (never again) date or be with someone who I do not find attractive. I don't need a woman who looks like a supermodel, but I need to be physically attracted to them.

Call me superficial all you want. Never again will I date someone I don't find attractive. (And yes, I have done it before -- recently, too.)

Don't you:

Live alone?

Have a restraining order?

Have a week or two before eviction?

Have troubles tying your shoes because you're too fat?*

Don't you:

Live alone?

Technically, yes. But I pretty much live at my current gf's place.

I like long hair, worn lose (though it can get in the way if it's not tied back [blush] )

I dislike blonde hair, but I won't discount someone just because they are blonde (unless it's dyed blonde...).

Indeed. As a wise friend said to me, if you're considering marrying someone, you've got to marry someone you'd be happy waking up next to every morning. That means a certain level of physical attraction has to be present. Of course, different people are attracted to different looks, but that's another story. For example, at least so far, Australian women aren't attracted to my shaved head and goatee combination [Wink]

Physical attraction is an odd thing... While I can find someone phsyically attractive before I get to know them, if I find out they have a terrible personality, the thought disgusts me...

The same is true for the oppisite as well... Just because their appearance dosn't scream attractive, if they have a personality I like enough, that changes...

*shrug* But, then, I'm a bit mental, as we all know [crazy] [crazy]

Yep, that's pretty much me, as well. Although, on topic, I do have a slight preference for long hair on the ladies.

My favorite happens to be the skinhead shave paired with a goatee. (Incidentally, my current boy's got it.) I think it has something to do with Edward Norton in American History X and one of my strange kinks that I don't like to discuss in polite company. [Eek!]

Very long, well kept, straight hair is nice.

I hate touching gelled hair, personally.
