Grandma, Grandpa, and Grandson make a pit stop and food break during a trip. At the MckiddyD's in St. Ignace, Mi (US-2) This was supposed to be a quick stop for light food before crossing into the lower Peninsula of Mi.

Order Two packages of 6 McNuggets, A McFlurry, A Hot Mocha, A Hot Chocolate. This should be a quick in and out the door. NOPE NOT HERE IN ST. IGNACE. The hot food was bagged right away the McFlurry was made, now the hard part, The Mocha machine was out of milk. Call in reinforcements. The woman preparing the the Mocha could not get the safety seal off of the milk bag. So someone that was not in a McD's smock started to assist her. He is prying with metal spoon to open the safety seal, finally he gets the pull devise to come into view. At this point he pulls the little strap (plastic) and it breaks, NOW FOLKS THE BEST PART, he bends over bites onto the plastic stub and pulls out the safety seal, loads the milk bag into the carrier and shuts the cabinet.

During this time there is a dine in order setting on the counter, getting cold, and the Managers family comes in and their order seems to take top of the list treatment.

Time elapsed FIFTEEN MINUTES the nuggets are now cold, the McFlurry is melting, The Mocha became a Coffee, and the Hot Chocolate no one wants to drink.

D'Man, I did not write that narrative to WAAA WAAA WAAA, but as a warning about a purveyor of junk food and lax health and food safety concerns at one of their outlets. At this point in my life I am above the sod, I might encounter brief problems but I AM ABOVE THE SOD.

Have a good day.

Well it appears that McD's cares more about customer concerns then Tim Horton's. Corporate called last evening, then the store in St. Ignace that's better than that place in West Branch.
