The National Republican Army (NRA) the armed militant terrorist wing of the Republican Party has sadly flexed its bloody muscle once again, assassinating the head of the Arkansas Democratic Party.

http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5jZT13WqlQ9i-8LZpa2zR-f0t9YSwD92HLDS01

In an unsigned letter that appears to represent NRA views, noted, "The second Amendment is much more important than any of the other rights this liberal SOB had a right to enjoy. We think bullets are much more important than votes."

It's too bad that the dishonest, inflammatory rhetoric of the right has to create this kind of disgusting and deplorable act.

You really have sipped from the radical redneck cup o' Kool-Aid haven't you Dr. Gator?

While you have often seemed like you want to be enlightened to the ways of the intelligent world, you also appear to be bound by the hatreds, prejudices, and knee-jerk ignorance of the southern redneck dope.

First you lack the mental capacity to understand satire.

Jonathan Swift, to you, must have ben serious about eating Irish children, right? Hey, there were dummies just like you who thought Swift was serious when he wrote his modest proposal. You're not alone. The world is full of stupid people. We have NASCAR to keep them entertained.

Oh, and speaking of the Irish, they had this political organization called Sien Fenn who talked all this hate talk but said they were legit. Then there was the IRA -- Irish Republican Army. Kinda like the satirical NRA. Let's connect some dots, Irish, Swift, Satire, IRA, NRA. (Hey, its a diversion).

Now look, I don't mean to insult your intelligence -- that would be like shadow boxing.

So, let's get to radical and the NRA.

I am an expert marksman, certified by the NRA. Been that way since I was 11. I have the ability to take a Win 70 and trim the mullet hair off the back of your red neck at half a mile. Got that weinie breath? It means I practice.

I learned to shoot from a tough old buzzard of a Marine, who believed the lowest form of turd was a nut who did not respect life and the deadly nature of firearms. He taught me those kooks should not have guns. I agree.

Today, YOU and the NUTTY NRA believe kooks should have guns until they kill somebody. Hey, terrorists have bombs until they kill people. They are dead, so are their victims and nobody has found a way to bring the victims back.

To make matters worse, I have to put up with this kooky political crap when I go to the shooting range. DON'T LIE AND TELL ME THE NRA IS DIFFERENT FROM THE BUNCHA RIGHT-WING KOOKS WHO ARE ALL JAW AND NO TALENT DOWN AT THE GUN RANGE. Because all you do is admit that you are nothing more than a common, yellow-belly, big-mouthed, ignorant, stupid, lost-the-civil-war-and-can't-get-over-it, gotta-go-to-Klan-meetin', southern-fried redneck.

Is your SKOOL TEE-CHUR reading this slowly enough for you?

You have consistently posted views that show you have no respect for the loss of innocent life. That would put you, Mr. "I'm a coward who hides and changes his handle" in the sociopath category. You are no different than Osama bin Laden -- and I really hate hHIM.

Can you connect the last dot here, cupcake?

Finally, can the rest of us have a legitimate conversation on how to keep guns out of the hands of Kooks, ASM and Dr. Gator?

Ok, I was trying to be nice and take back my previous post CP. Jeez look who's over reacting. [shake head]

Edit: You also seem to forget that I am a Cajun and not a redneck sir.

You weren't being nice, you were being a coward.

I responded after another forum member had read your diatribe, seemed disturbed to read it and informed me privately.

So the damage you inflicted was already public before your deletion. And the deletion itself another act that revealed your innate cowardice.

I don't care if you have a drawl or not. Your posts consistently demonstrate a shocking indifference toward the loss of innocent life. And you deserve to be insulted for that.

_______________________- CP & Doctor Who - I knew that this one was going to blow up.

The Second Amendment provides: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Point "A" A well regulated Militia. Is that the National Guard? The regular Armed Forces, or a bunch of Rambo wannabees running around in the woods with guns?

Point "B" At the time the "Bill of Rights" was written the patriots were all farmers with their own weapons, mostly muzzle loaders. Does that have any bearing on the current debate?

Point "C" Hitler knew about the US populace having their own weapons, he knew that an Invasion here would not work, but do not think that it was not thought about and solutions thought through.

So where am I going with this, beats the hell out of me. Gun Control seems to be the two edged sword, it cuts both ways.

_____________________ Sxeptomaniac Please do not confuse my comments with defending CP he does not need help with his comments.

Point "A" I was a Medic (bedpan dumper or other names) however the Marines would not move with out one of us along. I carried a Sidearm, 45cal for self defense, never needed it the marines took care of that. However when I came home a pretty little Coed had the gaul to ask me how many babies I killed. Welcome home Doc.

Point "B" CP and myself have seen innocents killed some of those were kids, Many bad dreams,

Point "C" We get on our soap boxes because many people do not want to understand that there are people that want us dead, because we do not pray to the right alter. This up coming election is one of the most important ones I have ever been alive for. The sheer stupidity displayed on line, on talk radio, TV, and in print is appalling.

So who is the right Candidate non of the above, they all have grave flaws, choose the lessor of the evils.

Now how do we keep killing weapons out of the hands of people that should not have access to them? That means auto's and drunks also. Too many lives are wasted because of STUPIDITY.

No confusion here, MoMan. Your comments have actual well-considered points to make, while CP is just throwing insults around in order to try and make himself feel bigger. I wouldn't mind discussing the issue with you a bit, but CP has made it clear he doesn't like disagreement in the threads he initiates, so I'm willing to oblige him that, provided he doesn't start bullying people again.

From 38 ways to win an argument:

quote:
Become personal, insulting and rude as soon as you perceive that your opponent has the upper hand. In becoming personal you leave the subject altogether, and turn your attack on the person by remarks of an offensive and spiteful character. This is a very popular technique, because it takes *so little skill to put it into effect. (this is wha [sic] trolls like to do)
Gee, do I really scare you that much CP?

* emphasis mine

Edit: I guess I will stop replying to you so that you can rest easy.

Thirteen years ago to the day of my original post, my best friend -- a man I looked up to as a brother -- was gunned down, murdered.

There are people in this forum who believe my viewpoints on gun issues are inflammatory. They have no understanding of the pain of losing a best friend to sensless violence. I have posted on this pain before.

Dr. Who, Sxepto, what have you done to replace this man? Less than nothing! You insult the victim and ignore the issue.

You are assholes.

And to celebrate the 13th anniversary of his best friend's murder, CP apparently decided to write SATIRE because he was bored!

Alternately, we can all accept this is just one more fictional story that he's pulled out of his ass and ignore the pathetic troll.

*wonders where he put that bingo card*

______________________ CP Does this happen to you? You are doing something normal and then you remember the barracks and something that happened and then you wonder, did he end up on the wall? Twenty six of us went off to Sear school only ten are alive today, more than half of a class dead, and every body doesn't seem to understand. This past spring and summer have been a real nightmare, I keep noticing the shadows, what was that. Just one night, a full nights sleep, would sure be nice.

Sear Navy and Marine Joint exersize Search Evade and Rescue, we went in after downed pilots Navy or USMC. Yeah, I made house calls. Now I am still fighting the gremlins of yesteryear, I never left anyone behind, or lost one, Wow isn't that something to brag about. One dollar more and I can get a coffee.

As Steen pointed out, you have previously demonstrated your readiness to lie if you think it will get you somewhere in an argument, so I see no reason to believe your story. If the issue were really that important to you, I would think you'd stick to it, rather than descending into insults because someone disagreed with you. No, you saw an opportunity to shore up your ego by trying to push someone around yet again, so who's the asshole?

Your viewpoints are not the inflammatory part. As long as you don't descend into the juvenile antics you've displayed in this thread, I'll be happy to leave you alone.
