How about Deja-vu? [Wink]

For the record, I'd just like to say that a big country invading a little country, "to protect an ethnic minority", when everyone knows it's more about control of oil and a childish dick-size competition between the two leaders, is a bad thing.

To look on the bright side, at least the Bush Administration, as well as declaring wholehearted complete support for Georgia has made it it clear that there is no chance that they will get dragged into this conflict, and that they do not want to return to a cold war relationship with Russia. They have also been very active diplomatically, so I hope we might have heard the last of that "we don't negotiate with evil" nonsense.

i believe they actually meant "we don't negotiate with evil when all of our strength is tied down in an illegal and immoral war because we couldn't be bothered to negotiate back then because our leaders are insecure about their collective penis size."

On the subject of having your forces tied down in the wrong wars - I bet the government of Georgia regret sending so many of their armed forces to Iraq.

Note to other world leaders: If you're invaded when your armed forces are away fighting america's wars, you can rest assured that Uncle Sam will give the invaders a good stern talking-to.
