It was the best of times.

It was the worst of times.

Karl Rove Resigns
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/blog/2007/08/13/BL2007081300739.html?hpid=topnwes

Let's all hear it for the guy who taught us that the enemy was each other.

Chinese Toy Czar Commits Suicide
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/08/13

This news comes on the heels of a story reporting that the Chinese Government executed the man responsible for the recent food scandal.

I understand it is easy to fantasize about a "Chinese Rebuke" being applied to the people responsible for losing the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the failures of Katrina, and the crushing debt generated by tax cuts and "conservative" tax and borrow programs that is just killing the mortgage market, the home building industry, and rocking Wall Street.

Sure, Bush, Rove, Cheney, Rummy, and Rice would be in their graves right now. But this is a democracy and responsibility runs deep, right?

I mean, can you imagine how boring the Politics/Religion forum would be without Sxepto, Steen, ASM, Garlic Guy and the others who have lead conservatism and the USA into the international toilet?

Okay dumbass... apparently we need to go over this again.

I am an athiest. You are the religious idiot who believes in an invisible big buddy who's going to make shit better, even though absolutely nothing in human history supports that view.

I have never posted anything that supported the actions of our current goverment officials. In fact, I've previously said "If I had a better idea for how to govern this damned country I'd be the first one to start a revolution."

So.. pull your head out of your ass and leave me the hell out of your delusional fantasies, fuckwit, because I am in no mood for some jackass who knows absolutely nothing about me to start this shit up again and I don't think anyone else really wants to see it either.

Steen,

It's sad to see the literacy level of the sub-average crackerbilly hasn't risen much since I last visited the south. I will salute you for holding up your end of the left side of the Bell Curve.

Your post here is nothing less than a tragic example of what happens when cousins are allowed to marry.

As for the value of your DNA, let's get real here, Steen. From what I've read about you, even your own organs have rejected your body.

Now, if you truly are an atheist and you do believe in evolution, why don't you just let Darwin take his course, and save our over-burdened medical system some wasted medical expenses?

Talk about a guy who can't handle rejection.

Bravo... very much the range of reactions I expected.

See... I never judge groups of people because they share the color of their skin, their religion or the geographical area they live in.

You, on the other hand, despite screaming about the prejudice of others, are the first to start talking about everyone in the south as if they're all the same.

You want to see the face of racism? You want to see prejudiced? Go look in a mirror.

Your post here is nothing less than a tragic example of what happens when cousins are allowed to marry.

No... my post here is an example of someone who went trolling and caught a big one (not that it's ever hard with you). The rest is just going to be me being evil and showing you things about yourself that you either can't or won't face.

From what I've read about you, even your own organs have rejected your body.

IgA nephropathy has nothing to do with rejection. It's actually where my cells are hanging on to something they shouldn't. Hey... nice try though. It's the closest you've come to a decent attack on me in the entire time we've argued.

Now, if you truly are an atheist and you do believe in evolution, why don't you just let Darwin take his course, and save our over-burdened medical system some wasted medical expenses?

Survival of the fittest... fitness includes the ability to use all resources at hand to continue one's life. Suicide is not a Darwinian action and, were you more informed and not subject to believing the twisted lies and arguments against Darwinism handed to you by others in your religion, you wouldn't be confused about this.

Talk about a guy who can't handle rejection.

Your opinions are always off-base, demonstrating unwillingness to educate yourself about any subject beyond the few misquoted facts that support your paranoid conspiracy theories and mindless hatred of anyone who doesn't agree that you're correct.

The day I find acceptance from you is the day I begin re-examining everything I'm doing because your acceptance means I have become like you. I honest think I'd rather be dead than ever be as prejudiced, paranoid, uneducated and delusional as you demonstrate yourself to be with almost every post you make.

Pissed now, aren't you? [evil]

Let's see if you can contain yourself to a rational response with me actually -telling- you that I'm trolling you and knowing that I will rip apart anything you say and make you look foolish for having said it.

C'mon... how good of a writer are you if you can't manage a coherent, defensible response?

Now look at that... it's been exactly a year since CP first developed his delusion regarding Steen.

Sxepto, I think I've figured out CP's strategy. What he does is post otherwise boring, inconsequential, etc. news, and to get people discussing it, throws in a diatribe against "righties" and some of the more intelligent and coherent supposed members of that political thought here on GC. I've also finally figured out that it's CP's portrait that Snaggy used for the graphic on this page.

Agreed. What a horrible thing to write to someone. [shake head]

Colonel Panic: Nitrozac and I don't want this kind of behavior here, please show some self control and stop this kind of immature trolling. An apology is in order too, imho.

Sheesh!

Unfortunately, CP's decreasing coherency suggests to me that he has no strategy discernible to rational minds.

I was flipping through the AM stations this past weekend while on the road, and happened across a rather good political discussion. They were mostly discussing the presidential candidates (primarily the Republican ones, following a recent debate). It was exactly the kind of political discussion I enjoy, yet so rarely can find. Nobody was acting like an asshole pundit. They didn't bash on the each other, the candidates, or either party, but just rationally and candidly discussed what they thought.

It's a shame I can't discuss politics around here, but it's just not any fun.
