Perhaps GWB's most lasting legacy is is a country and world more deeply divided, and with less mutual respect, than at any time since WW2.
I really don't know how anyone that follows will be able to put it together again, and that does make me despair. At the same time I am afraid that still I just hate those right wing nut jobs that have taken over the Republican party with a passion that shows no sign of dying.
