Finally a nice lcd screen for all of us non-mac users. ExtremeTech Article Here and ViewSonic Product page here. Or at least I think that's the same thing...

well this is how i look at it:
this viewsonic thing:$7,179.95
OR

A mid-top of the line DG4
.Mac:
Apple speakers
Apple Cinema display
$7,105.95

which would YOU prefer?

I think you know my answer. Windoze would still look ugly on any kind of monitor. But that Blue Screen of Death would have a lovely hue.

This thing has the equivalent of 200 dpi?

God! How dare you think I'd use that beautiful thing with windows... I wouldn't dare subject it to that torture... it would be receiving some tux lovin.

I would get one of the cinema displays... but while I can get a converter for it you dont get access to the OSD stuff with the converter.
