http://www.geocities.com/insanecoach/hotsauce.JPG (Hit refresh [EDIT] OK, the link doesn't work, just enter it manually [/EDIT])
and the Martini
(No Pic Avail)
didn't work I went out and got some Advil Cold & Sinus... It did the trick...

Ok, I am coming to realize that it was either the Advil Cold & Sinus doing the trick...

Or, after the Martini, I just don't care that my sinuses are clogged like a fraternity toilet...

Note: Coach hasn't eaten today due to his cold (thus the Martini is affecting him like a a beer affects a highschooler)

You decide...

You have dissobeyed Doctor King Tut an Geek (Only recognized as a doctor in Dinotopia™)!
I said do you have a headache?
You said no
I says, do you have a walgreens?
You said yes
I said get wal-phed, since it's cheap, and has all of the anti-histamines that advil cold and sinus has, but no extra ibuprofen it's 4.99 for a pack of 48, take two at a time.

Boo said to get the advil cold and sinus. I guess he gets to gloat the most [Smile]

I think I have discovered the root of your women-problems, Coach. It would be the geocities (aka "The Trailer Park of the Internet") home page.

Seriously though, check out http://www.icdsoft.com - good price ($65 a year, with the domain for registration and the hosting renewal was $50) great tech support, mySQL, PHP, ftp, subdomains, unlimited email accounts, etc.

I have hosting with ICDSoft (on SG's recommendation - I wanted in on the fun after I saw her domain :) - my only concern with ICDSoft is speed - feels somewhat slow to me (connection time, transfer rates) (and after the photo album "fun", I'm more sensitive about the speed of my site than before). Too Cool To Quit has found another webhost that's cheaper than ICDSoft - http://e-rice.net/ - but whether they're reliable, I have no idea. I've yet to even finish my new site, though.

An alternative, of course, if you have cable/DSL and port 80 available, is to just run the site off your own machine. Depending on how long your IP goes without changing (mine's virtually static) you may even be able to register a real domain and point it at your home machine, but otherwise something like a no-ip.com dynamic DNS record would do. For computer geeks and especially computer geeks in training, this is a nice solution.

Presently, I have space with my ISP (where my main site lives atm), on this Mac, at uni, on a friend's PC, a hosted site (with ICDSoft), and about 93 Mb of space on someone's Spaceports account (my old, deceased MP3s page).

I think I have discovered the root of your women-problems, Coach. It would be the geocities ... home page.
*shrugs* Both Jenny and lili had Geocities sites - never bothered me in itself (I doubt lili had the money to spend on hosting anyhow). Yahoo! PageBuilder seemed to be pretty sucky, though - drove lili mad. And still makes pages that don't work in iCab ;)

Actually, it isn't even a website, I just posted the Pic there using my Yahoo! ID...

[Smile]

Also, does anyone know a tool so I can track my IP over say a month? I have cable and I am curious about my IP, but I'd rather not log it by hand...

It wouldn't be too hard for me to write it in REALbasic (Mac OS 8+ or Win32) if there isn't one (create socket, read off local IP, open log file, write IP out, close log file, and repeat).

Alternatively, you could schedule (wit cron or Windows Scheduler) a dump of the ipconfig (or the *NIX equiv.) readout to disc - might need a batch file to do this in Win32:
 ipconfig >> IPlog.txt
Tho this file would be far less tidy as it would have other gunk in there from ipconfig.

However, if there's already a tool to do this, then all the better.
