Okay, i have been browsing the forums and occasionally I come across the run away "]" and it pisses me off because it is never in the same place nor is it consistent.
I've tried viewing source and i can never find it in the code. So i took a picture.

It's the carry-over from the left curly in '[ Log out ], one line above. It's because your browser rendered the table in a funky way.
Oh, and re: consistency - it's pretty much because the full path & topic name (on the right) are really long, and I'd bet the table percentages force the right to take priority.
