It's the circumference, in inches, of a woman's bust, waist, and hips. This proportion is used to determine the attractiveness of the human female. The fashion industry has secretly employed mathematicians for years, and they theorize that 36-24-36 (as immortalized by the Violent Femmes) are the proportions of the perfect woman.

Aha! Thank you - thought it would be something like that, but wasn't sure which bits were being measured. Doesn't seem to be employed much over here - do you still use bra sizes (cup and band) and dress sizes in the US, or is everything done like that?

Yes, we also use bra sizes and dress sizes. We have many ways of measuring a woman's worth. [Wink]

Get metric! We over here know those curves as 90-60-90, slightly slimmer, sexier numbers [Razz]

Keep it simple, stupid. Just describe yourself in terms of size of boobs and length of legs. All these other measurements just confuse a lust-clouded brain.. [Razz]

What units of measurement for the length of legs?

And what property of the boobs should be measured for size? Volume? Girth? Since on most women the size of the individual breasts varies slightly, should the result be averaged?

I would say a straight measurement (SI, of course), but then shorter girls would lose out. Perhaps a ratio of leg length to body height?

Hmm, good point. "Great boobs" is quite a subjective term, depending not only on volume and girth but also pertness, etc. I guess these can all be measured (width, weight, curvature, etc), but turning this into a single value with appropriate weighting to the various dimensions is going to be tough. Dammit, my simple system is falling apart as I watch [Frown]

Really? I could've sworn the ideal was 36-22-36 as immortalized by ZZ Top. (Sorry, no video available.)

So how come the average catwalk model couldn't get to 36 by adding up all 3 of her measurements?
