I wrote my Congressional delegation, even though they already claim to stand against SOPA and PIPA. First time I've ever used my proper title, but the bastards in Congress bloody well deserve to call me Dr.
My labmates and I have all felt rather lost without Wikipedia. One of them got so desperate she even deployed her half-forgotten French.

That has to be some of the most unintentionally funny shit I've seen in months.

Yeah, I found myself reading the Spanish version this morning, and was pleasantly surprised to find I understood (or at least **thought** I understood) about half of it, although I do confess to using Google Translate on some of it.
The protest has been amazingly successful, the list of senators who backed down includes sponsors of the bill, I'd have thought they were all bought and paid for by the MPAA. It's so difficult to find a corrupt politician who will stay bought these days.
There must be an election coming up, or maybe some of their favourite schoolboys-in-black-leather-underwear sites went dark...
