I have a certain fascination with history. I wouldn't call myself a fanatic by any means. Merely a casual observer.
That said, I have always found myself captivated with pictures, maps, and places of eras gone by. So here is something I saw on my Flickr page that has held me captive again for the morning.

The Library of Congress has some cool exhibits on their website too. As a librarian, I link to their stuff a lot.
