An aspect of computer storage which is still in R&D holographic storage.

to sounds like a nay sayer, this isn't going to happen any time soon. Articles saying almost exactly the same thing (working version within a decade etc) were being produced back in '95. I remember coming across the concept and thinking "great! I get to replace my new shiny cd collection!"

It's been over a decade since then, and it appears very little has been advanced, like the articles say, its a big white whale. By the time we have mass produced holocubes I'll be merging witht eh hive mind from the implants in my temple.
