There is GIMP which is good but needs X11 but now for those who don't want to run X11 I've found Seashore which is an OS X native Image Manipulator based on GIMP

Saw it on Macintouch...love the idea, but it's *slow* and limited. I'll use the Gimp any day of the week instead.

Well like I've said before I just kinda collect all this free stuff but I never really use any of it - I don't do much stuff that isn't graphics/DTP related and I have all the big names apps for that - but I do like to have all these free apps that I can show/give to people and say "see you can do all this stuff if you want without spending a single penny if you want!" and it is always nice to know you can lay hands on free tools almost anywhere as long as you have net access.

PC magazine did their free software issue and spoke about photo products. I'll look up the names they spoke about when I get home.
