I thought you were talking about the guy who started the Norton company there.. but I think his name is Peter Norton.

I was going to do a happy dance.

I'm sorry to hear that. I will see if we can put out a display of her books. I've always enjoyed her books; although not as fond of ther co-written pieces with McConchie. She is really popular her at my library.

I've only read one of her books, Mirror of Destiny. I remember really liking it when I read it in junior high, and then when I read it again in college I didn't think it was as good. Maybe I should pick up some of her other stuff and see what it's like.

She co-wrote a book with Mercedes Lackey called "Elvenbane" that I remember enjoying quite a bit when I was a teenager.

One interesting thing is that she wanted to be buried with copies of her first and last novels. Tor Books rush-printed a copy of her last novel so she could see what it looked like (the cover art, etc.) before she died. Good for them!

Tor and DAW are both publishers with integrity. Publishing is so much about the bottom line only these days, but they are still interested in a good book and developing an author.

The display I put up has been doing well. I had to put up more books this morning.
