Hmm, well they haven't made it out to Australia yet. Unlike Starbucks/Gloria Jeans/Krispy Kremes/etc

How are things post surgery, btw, Rhon?

They ought to put a Tim Horton's up here in Denver...we've got enough hockey fans around here that it'd do good business.

Wendy's bought Tim Hortons several years ago... it was a dark and frightening day here in Canada. [cry baby]

The good news was that Wendy's didn't change much about Tims, just pumped in a lot of money for expansion. Now there are a billion Tims here.

The Tim Hortons side of the company has been propping up the stock over the last few years, imho. [Geek]

(yay, Rhon is typing!)

That explains why I saw a sign for a Tim Hortons on the Mass Turnpike a few weeks ago. I was driving back to NY and it was right before the turnoff towards Hartford. I was past it before it sunk in, but next trip I'm stopping!

Sore! Awkward trying to get dressed. The bandage irritates my skin. Other than that, surgery was quick and painless. The worst part was getting the IV started.

Mostly left-handed, though.

More details once I get the bandage removed next week.

(CSK, I owe you a PM, but it'll have to wait, for obvious reasons! [Razz] )

Rhon, good to see you back.

Can I ask a silly question? What's a Tim Horton's?

Wow, they serve more than doughnuts! There's actually one in my state! Unfortunately, it's over 200 miles. [Frown]

I think I've gone on about this before, but in Kitchener, the city I mostly grew up in, there's about 100 Tim Hortons across K-W, with a population of 350,000 or so. That's insane.

They *ALL* make money and are *all* very busy. :S

It's a chain of doughnut shops. Good doughnuts, coffee and the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen on a road trip.
