It doesn't have a date, but D&D turns(ed) 30 this year

There are arguably better RPGs out there, but I'll always have a soft spot for D&D...

Ahh, AD&D, the first RPG I ever played...

Come to think about it, that explains a lot... maybe I should sue Hasbro for my irrepriable descent into geekiness. [Big Grin]

Nah, I'm proud of my geek factor. I am not ashamed to admit that I still role-play, using real paper character sheets (none of this MMORPG crap), every weekend...

"You want a piece of this?! Think you can take me?! ROLL FOR INITIATIVE, MONKEYBOY!!"

I remember in the mid 1970s my mom driving 100+ miles with a stationwagon full of obnoxious teen boys to get D&D stuff, since we didn't have any place that sold it in our town.

I'm not saying my brothers indoctrinated me but when a new store hung up their sign D&D Outfitters. You know my first thought.

So get out your 12 sided die.
