Oh, man. I bet liberals all over the country were spooging when they saw that.

Me, I was trying hard not to be sick to my stomach...

(Not that El Presidente Jorge Bushito has been doing a hell of a lot better lately, mind!)

Renegade glaciers capturing northern states? Chief Justice George Clooney? Gore talking about how he was instrumental in developing an anti-hurricane and tornado machine (just like the internet)? Six Flags Tehran? George Bush as baseball commissioner (which he actually wanted to be when he ran for governor)?

No offense Erbo, but if that made you sick and you couldn't see the humor in it, you seriously need to take your sense of humor into the shop for a tune up.

Well, that was the sickening part about it...that it was so over-the-top. As in "Al Gore does such a good job fighting global warming that we actually have glaciers rolling over some northern states." (Fallen Angels, anyone?) As in "Everything's so peaceful because Bushitler didn't start those wars that Tehran actully has a Six Flags theme park." Basically, the whole sketch felt like one big ass-smooch of Gore.

Maybe I shouldn't have been sickened...after all, these are New York City comedians on network television, one ought to expect liberal bias. But it did remind me one of the reasons why I don't watch SNL much anymore. (Besides the fact that these no-talent hacks they have on the show now aren't fit to lick the boots of Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, or John Belushi. And the writers suck in direct proportion.)

OK, enough ranting, this is supposed to be the jokes forum. I'll go post some actual jokes as my way of expiating my transgression. [Wink]
