So a few months ago I joined my colleges alum association Facebook® page. Now, since then, about once a week I get a friend request from a made up person. On this made up persons profile page are about three things. They say they went to my university, they have a picture that is always on the verge of breaking Facebook® nudity rules[a], and the same 3-6 saps that went to my university have already friended “her”. I assume if I friended “her” I would get spam or my personal information would be mined. I don’t know. Do you think if I unfriend my alum assoc. I will not get this spam anymore or do you think my FB page is already on the list of spam targets.

[a]”her” is always wearing a shirt but you can always still see her nipples.

It depends on how the spammer operates. The only way to find out is to try. If the spam doesn't drop off, you an always re-friend the alumni list.

Worst. Celibate. Ever.
