Hello, I'm buying a new monitor, tft, 20 inches, and my question is: how do i know (before buying it), if my computer supports 1680x1050 resolution?

Thank you!

Find out what video card you have and then check the manufactureres web site for the specs.

Windows:

Right click on desktop

Go to Properties

Go to Settings

Look on the left side under, Screen Resolution and see if it is there as an option.

If not

Proceed to Advanced.

Click Adapter tab

Click List All Modes.

See if it exists.

Done

Beat me to it.
The standard modes for my video card didn't support 1680x1050, downloaded powerstrip, clickety-click, fixed.
