My young sister came over my room (I talked with people through MSN) and pointed a bird on my window, you're not gonna belive it but I moved me mouse that the cursor will be on the bird.
I started loughing..blah blah blah..."Poof" and I stood with brilliant idea, it was brilliant until I closed the shutter. So if there is any engineer that's reading my message, I'd like to know if my idea is "do-able"

Yeah... it sounds interesting, but I really can't work out what you're on about. Something to do with a bird?

As an engineer, I would request a scope of work that I CAN UNDERSTAND..... maybe a diagram would help clarify things.... maybe.

Oh, were that only to be true [Big Grin]

And then you get all those folks who speak perfect English in person and then write e-mails, IMs and forum posts like a moron – what is with that? For anyone who hasn't seen it, The Chronicles of George is my all-time favourite.

(And no I don't understand the OP either. Mouse cursor on the house window...? ehwhat?)

Hi All_________________Back in my youth, I had a huge problem with writing, still do in fact. However I have found that using a text editer helps alot, in that I can type out the message, wait a few hours and then reread what I had typed. I usually find many errors that my mind had skipped over because it filled in the blanks. I think that this is because I get too far ahead of myself while typing and or writing. Some times the reread causes me to toss the document and start over, sort of like "what the hell was that?"

When I post something, I always hit the 'post' button, re-read it, find all my disgusting mistakes, and then click 'edit'.

It's not very efficient, but it works.

I have said it a million times. My spelling and my grammar really really suck.

But most of the time I pretend to have something intresting to say.

Sorry, that little line sometimes pops into my head during these types of exchanges, and I couldn't resist posting it this time. Those unfamiliar with Conan O'Brien's skit will have no idea what I'm talking about, of course. I'll see if I can find a link to the video later. [Wink]

[Big Grin] Two gold stars for T0F [Big Grin]

- one for showing tolerance to the newby
- and one for realising that Liverpool and England are different countries [Big Grin] [Razz] [Razz]

But seriously.. maybe Plcaga should declare if English is not his/her first language... then we can try and accomodate that.

If English is his/her first language...well, that's Scousers for you [evil]
