I am running multiple monitors with Windows XP, which is great as it gives me loads of desktop space, but is starting to annoy me because:
On (re)starting the computer, the primary monitor randomly displays some pixels in the wrong colour, leaving me with a splodgy image. If I change the video bit-depth, it cleans it up and I can get on with my life (looking for another PCI video card so I can add a forth monitor...). The computer does this no matter which video card is used for the primary monitor.
I have tried updating video drivers, but this does not help (I seem to have the latest drivers installed). Does anyone know of a cure for this??
Video cards/monitors are: 1) Sony CPD-G400P on NVidia GeForce2 MX400 2) Dell E771p on Intel 82810E graphics controller 3) HP D2826 15-inch on Matrox Graphics Millennium II PCI
(I intend to replace the third monitor ASAP, it is a 60Hz goldfish bowl).

I have a similar setup in my office running WinXP and FreeBSD with 2 monitors using a GeForce MX400 PCI video card and an onboard Intel 82845G graphics controller, with Envision 775e and Dell M781p monitors with no problems. I am using the latest Intel Extreme Graphics drivers from Intel.com and the latest NVIDIA NForce drivers for Windows XP. Feel free to PM me if you want anymore info on how I set mine up.

Yes, this intrugues me as well. I'm runing a beige G3/300 with one Apple monitor now. I have other non Mac monitor I would like to use(extras for the PC) I guess I could get an adapter for them? I'd sure like to know more. If I could have one monitor just for a workspace and place the tools of my Wacom, or photoshop, illustrator, quark, or other ap's on the other monitor(s)...

You'll want to get a PCI Mac compatible video card
