Want to learn computer programming but don't know were to look? Are the training classes to expensive for you to afford?

Look no futher than Just BASIC! [Cool]

Just BASIC has a built-in tutorial in which you can teach yourself computer programming in a schedule that is flexible to you. Just BASIC also gives homework assignments so you can practice all the computer programming knowledge. You don't even need the Internet connected!

Just Google search "Just BASIC download" & click on the second link, then click on "download", & install the program. Its that easy!

Just BASIC teaches everything on computer programming. And only uses 7 MB (if installed) of free space! Very Small!

Just Google search: Just BASIC download

7 meg...? Damn, too late now but I had a load of EPROMs with copies of BASIC that were only 16 k each in size.

Care to elaborate why this is a good dialect of BASIC as every single one I've used so far been, let's say, sub-optimal.

Aw, you cheat, you use GOTO! But yeah, I see it has its advantages. Real BASIC looks like this:

code:
 3070DEFFNrs(trak,sect,mloc):LOCALX%,Y%,A%,b
3080DIMb &20
3090?b=&FF:b!1=mloc:b?5=3:b?6=&53:b?7=trak:b?8=sect:b?9=&21
3100X%=b:Y%=b DIV256:A%=&7F:CALL&FFF1
3110n=b?5+7
3120=b?n

(read a disc sector) or:

code:
 1800DEFPROCdx(t$,x%,y%):LOCALa%,b$,A%,X%,Y%,D%
1810A%=&A:X%=0:Y%=&A:D%=&A00:FORa%=1TOLEN(t$)
1820b$=MID$(t$,a%,1):?D%=ASC(b$):CALL(&FFF1)
1830VDU23,251,D%?1,D%?1,D%?2,D%?2,D%?3,D%?3,D%?4,D%?4
1840VDU23,252,D%?5,D%?5,D%?6,D%?6,D%?7,D%?7,D%?8,D%?8
1850PRINTTAB(x%+a%-1,y%);CHR$(251);TAB(x%+a%-1,y%+1);CHR$(252)
1860NEXTa%
1870ENDPROC

(render a string of text at double its normal height)
