Damn!

Thinking back to this thread the 'self portrait' heading kind of got my hopes up.

If you watch 'The History Of NASA' backwards, it's about a space agency that has no manned spaceflight capability, then does low-orbit flights, then lands on the Moon.

Why, did you think it likely that addiew is/was a stripper? (ie thread title of the thread you linked). That's not very nice saying that [Wink]

ah... now I'd be really impressed if she is a 4 colour stripper :-)

BTW does anyone out there still remember or know how to use a line camera/PMT? Ah I miss the good old days of acetate and red tape.

Well Capt. I took the time to figure out where you reside, and have this question is there a Pacific flow much like the Atlantic Golf Stream that would somewhat shield your area from the extreams of 60N ?
Many years ago when I toured Ireland I found that there are Coconut Palms on the South Weast coast and I was in disbelief as the tour guide explaned that they had washed ashore following a Florida Huricane.

Yes and no. On the Alaska panhandle, it is very much a rain forest, from Haines Ak down to the lower 48. However, we are inland a hundred miles and seperated by a fsking huge mountian range. The range keeps the dry cold over here and warm wet over there.

If you are interested, take the time to google 'Whitepass' or 'Chilkoot trail' and you will find tons of info on the 1898 gold rush in Dawson City Yukon. The Stampeders came into Skagway Ak, and climbed the White pass to make it to the Yukon river systems and the gold.

I loved that show! Was it only shown in Cananda? If so I must have watched it on the CBC station out of Windsor when I lived north of Detroit. Same question on Mr. Dressup, no one seems to know what I'm talking about when I mention him.

I think so. I was living in Toronto, when Mr Dressup's wife got hit and killed by a car on Yonge Street. The next season there was no Casey and Finnigan. I have assumed she was the puppeteer of them
