Okay now that this has been going on for three months, is all the soot and ash going to affect weather patterns?

They're throwing everything they can get at the fires. Especially the one down in Colorado Springs. I'm not sure the recent break Boulder got in the weather made it that far south and, unfortunately, that's the only thing that's going to allow mankind to get an upper hand on that fire right now.
