The teddy bears have their picnic!

No wait. That's not it.

Today is the day I get married.

It is currently 9:10am, and I am burning a little bit of time before I have to bathe Rowan, set up the ceremony location, meet the cake lady at the hall, shower, get myself dressed, get down there, get my ass married, go to the hall, eat some food, and then go to Niagara falls where I will be for the better part of this week.

I will likely be offline completely until Thursday or so, as I am not bringing along any laptops or computers or anything of the sort.

There will be h0t p1x at some point in the near future.

Wish me luck, and I'll see you boys and girls later in the week.

Hey, you gave it a name, too? I called mine "Arnie"!
[evil]

Seriously, have a *great* day (I guess it's well on its way by now) -- looks like you lucked out with the weather. We'll see you on the other side (cue ominous music!).

You're going to set up the ceremony location and meet the cake lady before you get dressed????

Well, that will certainly help make it a memorable wedding day !

Have a good one ! [thumbsup]

Oops! Late for the party again. By now the Newf and Amanda are probably married and on their way to Niagra Falls.

I hope the ceremony and party were meaningful and memorable for both of you and your families. I hope the marriage is joyful and fills your whole lives with geniune intimacy, love and selfless service to one another, your children and all whose lives you touch.

May God Bless you richly all the days of your lives.

I suppose I should update now that I'm back.

The wedding went well. Everything went as planned, I successfully got the mill set up, and it was perdy.

I also got the hall set up, and myself showered and cleaned, and down to get married.

The wedding was like... 14 minutes long. We didn't want to waste people's time with a bunch of nonsense.

Then, we went to the hall, and partied. My Dad got good and loaded and it was funny as all hell since he's the happiest drunk in the world.

That, and his 80 year old mother was there, and he didn't want her to see him drink, so after he emptied a wine bottle, he passed it down the table so it wasn't in front of him anymore.

Niagara Falls sucked in the sense that the city is an absolute DUMP if you go more than 2 blocks away from the falls, and the hotel was highway robbery ($8 for a PB&J sandwich in room service), but I got to spend time with Amanda, we had a sweet view of the falls from our room, and an in-room jacuzzi and fireplace, so I can't complain too much.

We spent a day in Toronto, shopped at the Eaton's Centre, watched a movie at the big movie theatre on Richmond, and walked along the harbourfront.

All in all it was a good time, I just won't be going back to Niagara Falls any time soon (ever).

I'm back home, and now I'm doing work for my customers, cleaning up, and getting ready to get back into the swing of things next week as a married guy.

I'm still not entirely sure it's completely registered with me yet.

Yikes! If a PB&J sandwich was $8, just imagine how much chocolate syrup and whipped cream would be.

Glad you enjoyed the rest of the honeymoon, though [Smile]

Ha! To give you an idea, though, strawberries dipped in chocolate were $45.

[Eek!]

For that price, I would expect them to come with someone cute to feed them to me [Smile]

You wanna talk about dump? Check out the American side sometime. It was dead. Depressed and dead and, to add insult to injury, had the most expensive Denny's I've ever set foot in.

I went with some friends my freshman year of college. Two of these friend were not US citizens and didn't have their passports, so we could only stare at the shiny and pretty American side.

The bus station was sketchy too.
