OK, if you're in San Francisco and are a fan of yo-yo using, crime-fighting asian girls in mini skirts, then you will like this...

YO-YO GIRL COP will be playing an exclusive and limited engagement in San Francisco at LANDMARK'S OPERA PLAZA CINEMA starting this Friday, 7/13. This will be the only chance to see this film in the US on the big screen.

It’s a Japanese pop romp about a young delinquent girl recruited by the Japanese police and sent undercover in an all girl school to root out terrorists. Her only weapon is a razor sharp yo-yo and her mini skirt.

OK, I admit, that piqued my interest. [Big Grin]

The Village Voice said “Directed by Kenta Fukasaku, son of Kinji (Battle Royale), this 'trash-tastic guilty pleasure' pits the eponymous heroine against a high-school conspiracy of lesbian suicide bombers.”

US release of the DVD is on July 17th, but this is your chance to see this Kenta Fukasaku film in the theater on the big screen.

Never having attended an all-girls school, I never realized what a hotbed of terrorist activity they are!

I would have to say a yo-yo well describes my any and all experiences with mini-skirted private school girls.
