Just got back from seeing the digital 3D version of The Nightmare Before Christmas and it was great! The 3D is not overdone since they are working with the original 2D film, but depth has been added and few things pop out at you, but it's more about adding more layers of depth. If there is a theatre near you showing it go see it, especially if you missed it on the big screen 1st time around. Pixar also has a new 3D version of the short Knick Knack (this was shown with Finding Nemo) that is shown before the movie.

We're going to see this on Friday. I have a question, though. Do they use the red/green glasses? Those have never worked for me. I have no depth perception.

Whatever they used on the Spiderman ride at Islands of Adventure worked. It seemed like they cross-fielded the red/green in each lens.

Are you allowed to drive. My mother has this same thing and has never driven a car in her life. Basically one one eye works at a time preventing depth perception. Is it the same with you?

No they are polarized lenses, they look like sunglasses. But they aren't the ones shown on the website, they are big ugly lime green frames. And if you wear glasses they are plenty big to wear over them. I had to finally get glasses on Saturday (guess that's what happens when you hit 40 [cry baby] ) And wore them to the movie Sunday. I can't believe how bad my eyes have gotten, I am now nearsighted. It's amazing how much more I can see now!

I've driven with no problem since I was 16, and yes, it does sound like the same problem. I have a friend with only one eye that drives, so maybe it's a difference in govt law.
