As of tonight. This very moment, in fact. After two weeks of uncertainty and angst, she and I officially called each other "ex" and decided it is the best course of action and that we should be friends.

It sucks, to be sure. We still have a lot of feelings for each other and that'll make it harder. But our lives are moving too fast, in too different directions. I'm happy knowing that if we're meant to be, then we're meant to be.

And enjoy life being single for awhile. So who's up for a round of drinks?

How long did ya'll date? You are young, you will recover from this very quickly, enjoy your single-dom. And you're in Miami, you're surrounded by beautiful beaches, babes, and boobs! Live it up!!!

Hahaha, I was serious about enjoying being single. It was a short, fiery relationship that had a serious and romantic side. We've decided to remain friends and that this was for the best.

This just means that I can grow my beard out and enjoy frozen foods again on the nights I don't feel like cooking. And yeah, it's Miami. I'll miss what we had, but I look forward to what's out in the world. Thanks everyone for the encouragement. <|:D

(And Cjad...but well, yours was at least more brief. [Smile] )
