My Wife made me this cake for my birthday. Obviously she doesn't play chess that well as there are three glaring mistakes. (Can you find them?) It took her most of a day to make it. The board is white and dark chocolate squares. The figures are made of a similar substance to marzipan. My wife had tried to make the figures out of chocolate but failed.

Some geek cakes have been posted here in the past but I forget which threads.

You’re lucky my wife would kick me in the butt and tell me to work harder, cause I am another year older and uglier

What a great cake!!! Uhm... that green pawn by the (what appears to be the) king can't be next to the king... it would've had to have moved backwards... and it can't do that.

My roommate & I enjoy making cakes. We've made a tractor one friend, and an amazingly hilarious cake for another on her bachelorette party night which I would describe in greater detail and/or link, but it's NSFW and being new to this place I'm not sure how much you all put up with [Wink]

Love the chess cake. I'm fairly sure I'd have a difficult time destroying/eating it though. Poor cake [Happytears]

Scientists solved the "having cake and eating it" problem ages ago. Just buy or bake 2 cakes.
